We want to see them. And we want to share them.

The #grandkidsguide Community

We’re building a running feed of real grandparent-grandkid moments from across Fairfield County — and beyond. Photos from beaches, parks, museums, ice cream stops, farms, bowling alleys. The things you actually did, not the polished version.

To participate:

1. Take a grandkid somewhere (anywhere)
2. Snap a photo
3. Post it on Instagram or X with #grandkidsguide

We review all tagged posts. The ones that are genuinely good — good photo, real moment, something other grandparents would smile at — get featured in our community feed at grandkidsguide.com/community/.

What We’re Looking For

We don’t need professional photography. We need real moments.

• Ice cream dripping before it’s even finished
• A grandkid who refused to leave the water table at Stepping Stones
• The face they made when they first saw the zoo
• The beach day that started as a 30-minute plan and turned into three hours
• The farm stand where they asked to come back every week

Tag the venue if you know it. Tag the town. Tell us how old the grandkids are. The specifics make the community feed useful to other grandparents planning similar days.
