By accessing or using Grandkids Guide (grandkidsguide.com), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service Description

Grandkids Guide provides local recommendations, editorial content, and business listing tools. Content is informational and may change without notice.

User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information in forms and submissions
  • Do not misuse, scrape, attack, or disrupt the service
  • Do not submit unlawful, infringing, or misleading content

Listings, Payments, and Promotions

Promotional placement availability, pricing, and inclusion may change. Additional terms may apply to paid placements and partner offers.

Billing and Cancellation

Featured listing subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time by emailing [email protected]. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months. If a payment fails and is not resolved within 7 days, access to featured placement may be suspended.

TikTok Integration

Grandkids Guide integrates with TikTok via TikTok for Developers' Login Kit and Content Posting API. If you connect your TikTok account to Grandkids Guide:

  • You authorize Grandkids Guide to access your TikTok profile information (display name, avatar, profile link, and verification status) to confirm your connected account.
  • You authorize Grandkids Guide to publish video content to your TikTok profile on your behalf, but only for content you explicitly schedule and initiate. Grandkids Guide will not post to your account without your action.
  • You are solely responsible for all content you schedule and publish through Grandkids Guide to TikTok. You agree to comply with TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
  • You may disconnect your TikTok account at any time by managing your connected apps in your TikTok account settings.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Third-Party Links

The site may include links to third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grandkids Guide is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
