How to connect it

Meta's Muse

  1. Open Muse and start a new chat.
  2. Type: "Create a custom connector for Grandkids Guide. Its MCP server URL is https://grandkidsguide.com/mcp"
  3. Muse sets it up and tests it. Then ask your question.

Claude

  1. Open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Tap "+", choose "Add custom connector", name it Grandkids Guide and paste the address above. Leave sign-in off.
  3. In a chat, tap "+", then Connectors, and turn Grandkids Guide on.

ChatGPT (work and school plans)

  1. Custom connectors in ChatGPT need developer mode, which an admin turns on for Business, Enterprise and Edu plans.
  2. Once it is on, add a custom connector (MCP) and paste the address above. No sign-in or key is needed.

What it can and can't do

  • It searches the same directory you see on this site: parks, beaches, museums, zoos, farms, play spaces and more.
  • It can look up a place's address, website, phone and opening hours. Hours come from Google, so check with the venue before you go.
  • It does not know ticket prices or parking. The venue's own website is the place for those.
  • It only reads. It can't book anything. It sees only the search words your assistant sends it, like "farm" or "Greenwich", never your chats or your account.
